
École de pilotage
CVVG organise les cours de pilotage planeur tout au long de la saison de vol (d'avril à octobre). L'instruction en vol a lieu tous les week-ends, les jours fériés, et parfois en semaine lorsque le temps est ensoleillé, chaud et que la vitesse du vent est faible.
Il y a un instructeur en piste / en vol chaque jour ou le club organise des opérations de vol. Cet instructeur est certifié pour instruire les élèves-pilote en vertu de la réglementation sur les transports du Canada (CARS 421.82). Tous les instructeurs sont bénévoles, ainsi que les pilotes remorqueurs.
Ce que vous apprendrez
La formation de pilote planeur suit le programme d'instruction de l’AVVC / SAC (Association de Vol à Voile du Canada / Soaring Association of Canada).
A chaque étape de la formation, l’instructeur explique et démontre chaque concept, exercice ou procédure, puis guide l’élève-pilote pour l’exécution de la manœuvre, d’abord avec son assistance, puis sans aide de l’instructeur.

Note these lessons do not proceed in a strictly linear fashion. The sequence of exercises will vary based on each student’s progression, weather conditions and other factors. However before going solo a student needs to complete all exercises and demonstrate competence in all these skills. Your progress will be recorded in your Pilot Training Record (PTR) book.
